Hats Galore!!!

So.... I've been crocheting away as I have been pretty stationary with my knee and all.  And I seem to have hit off on a talent for the headwear.

I make hats for my kids and sometimes for Christmas gifts....  I have had a couple of nibbles on people asking what I charge and wonder if it would be worth while to make and sell them at local craft fairs or possibly online.... something to think about.

I've been given a new name.... Hoppy

Tom and the kids have taken to calling me Hoppy... not Honey, or Mom or Mommy... Hoppy.

This is getting old.

Really Old.  Really Fast.

So, off work til Jan 21st.   Working on getting a better range of motion in my knee and making it strong enough to haul my butt around.  Tomorrow I get to do some water exercises in the pool and let me just tell you.  Squats suck!

So, getting better a bit every day, little by little. Inch by creaky inch.

I have survived!!!

Today is turning out to be easier and more difficult then I thought it would be.  Easier in that I don't think that I am in as much initial pain as I thought I would be in... but more difficult since I am totally non-weight bearing on my Left leg and it's a big pain in the butt (or knee)!!!

So, everything takes that much longer to do and get to and w/the crutches I can't carry anything at all.  and with no one else home to help out... it takes me a lot longer to do anything.  and easy to go foods are not all that easy...  :)

we will see, hopefully each day will get better and easier and tomorrow I can actually take the dressing off to see how the healing is going and Friday starts PT.... that is gonna be a mountain to climb in and of itself.

Well, Vicodin is calling me to dream land... time for nap...........................
